Future Cities and Environment publishes high quality multi-disciplinary research which aims to reduce the environmental impact of cities. Considering research in the areas of transport, urban planning, architecture and design, and energy and infrastructure, it publishes fundamental and applied research, critical reviews and case studies. SSET in conjunction with the Future Cities and Environment (FCaE) have agreed a £25 discount to the APC (article processing charge) for WSSET members wishing to publish a paper in FCaE (open access). This will cost WSSET members £475 as opposed to the full charge of £500 if they declare their membership details to the editorial team before publication.

The International Journal of Low-Carbon Technologies has improved its Impact Factor to 1.054. This is good news with indexing in the WOS and the JCR.
International Journal of Low-Carbon Technologies is concerned with the application of technology to the challenges created by climate change. All areas of the field are considered with sections focusing on: Renewable energy technologies, CO2 reduction and low carbon technologies, Sustainable energy technologies in the built environment and Renewable energy management and environmental impact. We aim that International Journal of Low-Carbon Technologies will provide a forum for the cross-fertilization of ideas across all areas of the field. Papers should be written in such a way that the technologies and results they report on are accessible to researchers working in other areas of the field. Authors should also describe the actual or potential applications of their work. The journal publishes research articles, technical notes, review papers, book reviews and focus issues.
The International Journal of Low-Carbon Technologies (IJLCT) in conjunction with WSSET offers a 20% discount to the APC (article processing charge) for WSSET members wishing to publish a paper in IJLCT (open access). This will cost WSSET members £915 as opposed to the full charge of £1144. Authors will need to state that they are WSSET members when paying.
